Venice
It is a story about the flood that hit the city of Venice. I tried to describe the various situations that occurred, starting from Piazza San Marco, through the alleys of the city, I caught the discomfort that the heavy rains and high tide have caused on the citizens and their activities.
The month of November was a period in which the city was brought to its knees by constant rain and uninterrupted tidal changes. At the expense of those thousands of shops flooded with water and remained closed for the entire month. Tourism has not stopped, attracted by this extraordinary climate event, and has continued to invade the city. The tourists buying fake rubber boots from the traveling shacks, have faced the high water between the alleys up to Piazza San Marco, making countless selfies, taking it all as fun, in contrast to the suffering and the constant complaints of the Venetian citizens . Some shopkeepers trusting some of their thoughts told me that for decades such a dramatic event had not happened. Fault of the climate or lack of responsibility on the part of man in foreseeing in advance the works of safeguard for the city.
Citizens look bitterly at the discomfort surrounding them and courageously get up every day working together as a great community, helping each other out of it.
